The Farmington Valley Quilters Guild proudly presents the
Farmington Valley Quilt Festival 2008, on October 4th and 5th,2008
at The Hartford Insurance, 200 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury
Connecticut.

The show features over 200 quilts by local and national artisans.
Ranging from traditional  through quilted art,  this show has
something for every quilter, crafter, and art enthusiast. In addition to
viewing, you can participate by selecting your favorite quilts in a
number of categories to help us award the
People's Choice Awards
for these quilts.

Nationally acclaimed quilt Artist,
Marilyn Belford, will be our featured
speaker on Sunday, October 5th. . Preview Marilyn's work at

Invitational quilts by nationally recognized quilters including Marilyn
Belford,  quilt designer Judy Niemeyer,  and art quilter Barbara
McKie will be on display during the show.

The show also features Quilt Appraisals, Lectures, Workshops,  
vendors, and demonstrations plus a special display of antique
quilts from the collections of local aficionados.

Show hours are from 10am to 5pm, Saturday, October 4th and from
10am - 4pm Sunday, October 5th.

Admission is $8.00 and free parking is available on site. The show
is handicap accessible and handicap parking is available.
